WinDyn... Powerful, yet easy to use.
You use WinDyn™ software with SuperFlow dynamometer data acquisition systems.
WinDyn provides quick and easy test design and configuration, real-time data acquisition and display, and convenient test-data management, display, and reporting. It lends a friendly computer interface to the SuperFlow dynamometer's electronic hardware system. WinDyn works on computers running Microsoft Windows® operating systems (See System Requirements). WinDyn communicates with the dynamometer though the computer's Ethernet connection to the SuperFlow data acquisition hardware.

WinDyn™ makes it easy to configure, run, and analyze your dynamometer tests.
Start testing immediately.
WinDyn software makes it easy to prepare your dynamometer for testing. It includes ready-to-use, predefined test groups that automatically configure the WinDyn software and the SuperFlow data acquisition equipment to run typical dynamometer tests. These test groups include everything you need to configure your dynamometer. To configure a test, just choose one of the predefined test groups, auto-zero your sensors, and enter an optional test description.
Customize the WinDyn environment to fit your needs... it's easy.
You can use the test groups provided or modify and save them with a new name for future testing. Most WinDyn users find it easier to modify an existing test group for their needs, but you can also start from scratch if desired. WinDyn allows you to configure tests in any combination possible.

WinDyn helps you run your tests.
Use WinDyn's handy control panel or the dynamometer interface to start, pause, and stop automated tests. Enable or disable safety limits, record or erase data, or check system status with a single mouse click.
During the test, WinDyn monitors critical "limited" values and initiates limiting actions in response to any out-of-limit conditions defined in your test group.
WinDyn's post mortem feature kicks in when a Limit is triggered. This feature takes a snapshot of the data before and after the Limit is tripped to help you determine why the limit was tripped.
WinDyn helps you monitor your test as it runs.
WinDyn displays real-time, on-screen meters, digital readouts, bar graphs, and plots. You can switch between 10 custom test screens as the test is running. Real-time data on every screen continuously updates even when the screen is not in use.
Analyze Your Data
WinDyn™ makes it easy to configure, run and analyze your dynamometer tests.
For each test, you can view up to 10 user-defined pages in tabular format. When the test finishes, just click the Graph icon, and WinDyn quickly and automatically generates up to 10 different test data plots. Your tabular data and graphical data can appear side by side on the screen for easy comparison. You can also overlay test data to compare it graphically with up to 10 simultaneous overlays.
Organize Test Data

Organize Test Data with WinDyn's Database
Organize and retrieve tests with WinDyn’s database application. Use the database to search for old tests that match criteria such as repair order number, engine or vehicle serial number, customer name, etc. A database record is automatically saved with each test.
Play Back Stored Tests
Use WinDyn to replay stored tests with all meters and screens active.
Evaluate Your Test Data in Excel
WinDyn lets you export your test data to Microsoft® Excel® for custom post-test evaluation.
