Dual Gun
TCRS auto weld aligners are the core of the SuperFlow’s high-production torque converter system. Millions of torque converters have been rebuilt using TCRS products. This unit has dual welding capability for extra productivity which makes this the ideal choice for high-volume operations. It is designed to accommodate all torque converter configurations utilizing adapter bushings unique to each specific converter.
With features such as air-operated collets, patented auto-tack and auto-weld functions, and the ability to perform bowl buildups and weld on impeller hubs, TCRS Auto Weld Aligners are the choice of quality rebuilders worldwide.
Big Three automakers Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler all use the TCRS Auto Weld Aligner. Operators can use the TAC-12 PLUS control panel to run the number of tacks: 4, 6, 8 and 12. Control tack duration from approximately 570 milliseconds to approximately 1670 milliseconds. Use the machine for precisely aligning and holding internal and external tolerances in a torque converter while welding the converter assemblies or subassemblies.
Simply position guns one time and your ready to tac & weld. This unit uses a mechanical arm to move the welding guns in/out of the same location.
- Precision-ground hard chrome spindles.
- Stress relieved and precision CNC machined turntables.
- The collet closer is assembled from tool steel and is precision ground. It uses precision machined DELRIN hub
- bushings to ensure hub protection and repeatable performance. Collet is air operated and "buckable" for easy, precision alignment.
- The drive motor has a rugged 950 lbs. of torque with an insulated coupler.
- The welder is made of sturdy Miller brand components, using the XMT 350 power supply and heavy-duty "dual roller" S-60 series wire feeder. The Miller product line trademark is reliability and ease of use.
- Set end play of the torque converter with our collet lock system
- Tac & weld all one this single machine
- Easily adjust the table speed, tac's, wire speed and welder arc
- Made from welded steel to ensure heat will not change the alignment
- Quick change tooling
